Professional freelance editing, the intelligent way

I live to edit.

I’m the kind of person who reads usage manuals for fun.  I proofread signs when I’m walking down the street.  It’s in my blood.  It’s what I do– and I’m good.

I’m a well-read, well-rounded person with more than ten years of editing experience in a wide range of fields.  I’m an excellent researcher, and I know when to ask questions.  Whatever your needs, I’m ready to bring my skills, work ethic, professionalism and enthusiasm to your project.

Not a native English speaker?  Not a problem– I specialize in texts written by non-native English speakers.  In addition to copyediting, I also provide critiques and writing coaching services to help you improve your English language skills.   I’ve worked with English language learners from around the world, in fields ranging from political science to public health to video game design.

Do you need assistance in your job search?  I can help you craft a résumé or improve the one you have.  I have assisted artists, teachers and many others in understanding the skills and experience they’ve gained and communicating it to prospective employers.  I also offer interview preparation and coaching for people at every career stage.

I offer competitive rates and quick turnaround.  For an estimate on your project, please contact me at sarah.e.grey@gmail.com.

My clients say:

“A pleasure to work with!”

“This writer rocks the casbah so hard that she should go back in time and sue the late Joe Strummer.”
