2006-present: Translation Project Manager, CETRA, Inc. Responsible for managing government
and corporate translation projects at all stages. Client service, including building and
maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and vendors. Preparing and cleaning
files using Trados translation software, compiling termbases, and aligning files. Proofreading,
editing, and formatting documents, including desktop publishing. Preparing price quotes and
purchase orders. Recruiting and managing vendors, including leading teams in collaborative
translation processes. Extensive editing of translated English text and bilingual Spanish>English
texts. Marketing and building the CETRA brand using Internet social networking tools and in-person
networking. Developing familiarity with linguistic and cultural aspects of languages
